Aroma

After a long, exciting and exhausting day, we made our way  back for our second night at Maagan Holiday Village on the Sea of Galilee.

On the way we stopped at one of Israel’s most visited shrines, Aroma. This is the modern equivalent of the ancient “high places” where pagan gods were worshipped, although the object of worship has changed. It is now coffee.

Aroma is the Israeli Starbucks, and is famous for great coffee and dark chocolate. Here I am with the libation of the gods: iced coffee latte... the first time in my life I have ever ordered iced coffee. I guess we all go a little wild in Israel!
